Dr. Drabick is one of the owning physicians of Family Medical Associates of Raleigh.  He is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and board certified by the American Board of Family Physicians.  He is licensed to practice in North Carolina. 
Dr. Drabick specializes in the treatment of obesity as the Medical Director of the Center for Medical Weight Loss in Raleigh, which you can learn about at www.healthyraleigh.com.  He received his medical degree at Temple University in Philadelphia, PA, completed his residency at Memorial Hospital in Burlington in Mt. Holly, NJ , and is working to become an accredited bariatrician.  Dr. Drabick is originally from Phoenixville, PA. He joined Family Medical Associates of Raleigh in 1998 after working for Kaiser Permanente and in private practice.  Dr. Drabick enjoys spending time with his family,
playing the piano and gardening.


Dr. Flick is one of the owning physicians of Family Medical Associates of Raleigh.  He is a member and fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians and board certified by the American Board of Family Physicians.  Dr. Flick is licensed to practice in North Carolina and received his undergraduate degree from North Carolina State University.  He received his medical degree at Duke University, and completed his residency at Wake Forest University.  Dr. Flick joined Family Medical Associates of Raleigh in 2000 after working for Rex Hospital and in private practice.  He specializes in women’s and adolescent health, as well as sports medicine.  Dr. Flick was the 2004 president of the North Carolina Academy of Family Physicians and currently serves on the American Academy of Family Physician Board of Directors.  He is very active in several local and state medical organizations.  Dr. Flick is originally from western Maryland and enjoys spending time with his family, church, running and golf.

 

Dr. Moore is the founder of Family Medical Associates of Raleigh and now shares ownership of the practice with Dr. Drabick and Dr. Flick.  He is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and is board certified by the American Board of Family Physicians. 
Dr. Moore is licensed to practice in North Carolina.  He received his medical degree at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and completed his residency at Pitt County Memorial Hospital in Greenville, NC.  Dr. Moore grew up in Burlington, NC and started Family Medical Associates of Raleigh as a solo physician in 1987. 
He specializes in dermatological care.  Dr. Moore is also an accomplished artist and his paintings are displayed throughout the practice and at

He also enjoys music and playing the guitar.

 

Dr. Jo is a Family Physician licensed to practice in North Carolina.  She is board certified by the American Board of Family Physicians and is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians. 
She received her medical degree from Northwestern University Medical School (now known as the Feinberg School of Medicine) in Chicago, IL, and completed her residency at the Hinsdale Family Practice Residency Program in Hinsdale, IL.  Dr. Jo joined Family Medical Associates of Raleigh in 2010 and previously worked at Duke University.  She specializes in women's health, pediatric medicine, sports medicine, and cosmetic dermatology.  Dr. Jo enjoys spending time with her family, playing golf, playing the piano,
gardening and reading.

 

Dr. Christie is licensed to practice as a Family Physician in North Carolina, and board certified by the American Board of Family Physicians.  She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians.  Dr. Christie received her medical degree from Tulane University in New Orleans, LA and completed her residency at Duke University.  She joined Family Medical Associates of Raleigh in 2011 and previously worked at Duke University.  Dr. Christie specializes in diabetes and chronic disease management, women's health, pediatric medicine, and sports medicine.  She enjoys spending time with her family, reading, music, church, and pilates.

 

Ms. Proctor has practiced as a Nurse Practitioner in North Carolina since 1983 and is a native North Carolinian.  She received her Masters of Nursing degree at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.  Ms. Proctor is a member of the American College of Nurse Practitioners.  She joined Family Medical Associates of Raleigh in 2002 after working for Kaiser Permanente and in private practice.  Ms. Proctor specializes in diabetes and chronic disease management.  She enjoys spending her free time with Hearts with Haiti, Inc, a nonprofit organization that supports children in Haiti. 

 

Mrs. Hardee is a licensed Adult Nurse Practitioner and has practiced primary care medicine since 2007. She is a North Carolina native, originally from Charlotte, and has lived in Raleigh since 2005. Cameron completed both her undergraduate and Master’s degrees at UNC Chapel Hill and is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She joined Family Medical Associates of Raleigh and the Center for Medical Weight Loss in 2011. She enjoys providing diabetes care, lifestyle counseling, and chronic disease management to her patients. In her free time, Cameron enjoys running, traveling, and spending time with her husband and three children.

 

 
Dr. Evans is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and board certified by the American Board of Family Physicians. Dr. Evans is licensed to practice in North Carolina and received his undergraduate degree from North Carolina State University. He received his medical degree at the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University where he was a Brody Scholar, and completed his residency at Wake Forest University. Dr. Evans is a new member of Family Medical Associates of Raleigh joining in the fall of 2013 after working for Wake Med in primary and urgent care. He specializes in dermatologic procedures such as mole and skin cancer removal, cryosurgery, chronic disease management (Diabetes, HTN, COPD) and sports medicine including joint injections. Dr. Evans has participated in medical missions, and plans to continue this throughout his career. He enjoys spending time with his family, church, hiking, soccer, running, surfing, and golf.

 

Dr. Carr has been with Piedmont Medical (now merged with Family Medical Associates of Raleigh) since July 1992. He completed his undergraduate studies at Duke University in 1984. He then attended the Medical University of South Carolina and received his Doctorate of Medicine in 1989. After completing a 3-year residency in Family Practice at Greenville Hospital systems in Greenville, SC in 1992, he and his wife Melinda returned to the Triangle. They have two boys, Paul and Josiah. Dr. Carr and Melinda enjoy all things DUKE, sports, spending time with their boys and travel.

Ms. Britt joined Peidmont Medical (now merged with Family Medical Associates of Raleigh) in April 2001. She received her Bachelor's degree in Nursing in 1995 from the State University of New York at Brockport. She then relocated to the Triangle, and she worked in adult internal medicine at Duke for 5 years while working on her Master's Degree in Nursing. In May of 2000 she received her MS from Duke University and completed her Family Nurse Practitioner licensure. She is a board certified Registered Nurse and Family Nurse Practitioner. Joan has two children, Kate and A.J. They enjoy sports and many outdoor activities.
